This is a mirror of the original BitMEX trollbox archive that used to be online here.
BitMEX disabled their archive after the DDOS attack so I have decided to make my mirror publicly available.

Well now, a few days after I made this mirror available to the public, the original archive from BitMEX is online again.
But since it is still limited (neutered to the last few hundred messages) I will keep my FULL mirror alive.

You have access to more than 50 million trollbox posts. This is more than 7 gigabyte of data hosted on a $5 server so please be patient or consider a donation

[2017-01-18 09:21:20] micmix : 1-2-3, panic!
[2017-01-18 09:22:37] lockhedge : micmix: hey micmix! did you read the bloomberg article about bitcoin and HFT? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-01-16/high-speed-traders-are-taking-over-bitcoin-as-easy-money-beckons
[2017-01-18 09:22:47] lockhedge : "Chen says he’s generated annualized gains of 50 percent for his own account, though he declined a Bloomberg News request to provide transaction details verifying his claims"
[2017-01-18 09:22:50] l3f : lockhedge: the guy made 50%
[2017-01-18 09:22:52] l3f : in a year!
[2017-01-18 09:23:01] l3f : I made like 300% in a month rofl
[2017-01-18 09:23:11] haxmb : l3f: with bitcoin going up 100% in a year
[2017-01-18 09:23:16] haxmb : such an achievement
[2017-01-18 09:23:17] l3f : maybe his algorithm isn't such a degenerate gambler
[2017-01-18 09:23:23] l3f : haxmb: hahaha
[2017-01-18 09:23:25] narnarfromnarnia : l3f: probably different amounts
[2017-01-18 09:23:28] micmix : lockhedge: no, didn't read this one
[2017-01-18 09:23:33] narnarfromnarnia : of $$$ to manage
[2017-01-18 09:23:46] micmix : but 50% pa is very low
[2017-01-18 09:25:20] VenCap : Todays letter R for REKT
[2017-01-18 09:25:21] lockhedge : if the returns are in CNY, he lost 50% compared to just holding bitcoin
[2017-01-18 09:25:24] haxmb : in this business it is
[2017-01-18 09:25:34] haxmb : 50% is pathetic
[2017-01-18 09:26:09] ayy_lmao : when you get made fun of for 50% gains
[2017-01-18 09:26:16] ayy_lmao : f*cking n00b!
[2017-01-18 09:26:42] haxmb : ayy_lmao: ayy lmao
[2017-01-18 09:26:43] haxmb : :D
[2017-01-18 09:27:05] haxmb : poor fellow must have been using 0.5x leverage
[2017-01-18 09:27:16] ayy_lmao : lol
[2017-01-18 09:27:27] haxmb : :D :D :D
[2017-01-18 09:28:02] MikeHunt : http://i.imgur.com/WKn9a3o.png
[2017-01-18 09:28:10] ayy_lmao : LOL
[2017-01-18 09:28:30] haxmb : Looks nice but im not so sure it's gonna go down that far
[2017-01-18 09:28:49] trestres : micmix: do you trade high frequency?
[2017-01-18 09:28:59] ayy_lmao : its all good
[2017-01-18 09:29:03] dodic : MikeHunt: hahah
[2017-01-18 09:29:07] ayy_lmao : just pull that out everytime we dump
[2017-01-18 09:29:23] ayy_lmao : to scare the kiddie
[2017-01-18 09:30:22] micmix : lockhedge: I hope it's in bitcoin but still low. just lending on exchanges would get him around 25-30%, most likely with less risk
[2017-01-18 09:30:57] haxmb : micmix: yeah like on bitfinex
[2017-01-18 09:31:03] haxmb : /s
[2017-01-18 09:32:18] micmix : trestres: there is no HFT in bitcoin, most I can do is about 20 order submits/cancels per second on OKC
[2017-01-18 09:33:01] haxmb : micmix: my best burst is around 30ms/trade over there i think
[2017-01-18 09:33:14] haxmb : so around that number too
[2017-01-18 09:33:50] narnarfromnarnia : trying to get shorts opened up here it looks like
[2017-01-18 09:33:52] micmix : haxmb: by keeping trading capital on exchanges he assumes the same counterparty risk in addition to all other trading risks
[2017-01-18 09:33:57] narnarfromnarnia : 115k there holding it down
[2017-01-18 09:36:05] trestres : micmix: why there is no HFT in bitcoin? technical reasons or other?
[2017-01-18 09:38:29] micmix : technical reasons, exchange trade engine/infrastructure limitations
[2017-01-18 09:38:52] trestres : micmix: ok... thank you
[2017-01-18 09:39:45] micmix : but I think order flow is not there either, so there is no point to do HFT
[2017-01-18 09:39:55] MikeHunt : also if we do hit 8888 again.... http://i.imgur.com/IwpIX8U.png
[2017-01-18 09:40:36] arbitrage101 : micmix: any tips to learn all this?
[2017-01-18 09:40:51] arbitrage101 : direction, articles
[2017-01-18 09:41:05] arbitrage101 : 50% + return roi sound awesome
[2017-01-18 09:42:07] l3f : arbitrage101: 50% return = sell -x1 btc on here and collect interest apparently
[2017-01-18 09:44:10] micmix : arbitrage101: you mean HFT? it's math/statistics plus a lot of programming
[2017-01-18 09:44:36] arbitrage101 : just normal algo trading
[2017-01-18 09:44:43] micmix : have to be good at both or have people specializing on one or the other
[2017-01-18 09:44:48] arbitrage101 : is there a method to make profit consistently?
[2017-01-18 09:45:15] micmix : market making and arb
[2017-01-18 09:47:44] trestres : and today... but tomorrow not, also earn because of children gambling
[2017-01-18 10:00:27] Noobz : why not tomorrow?
[2017-01-18 10:03:24] trestres : because a higher number of professional traders like micmix plus insiders will eat all the pie
[2017-01-18 10:04:38] Noobz : gamblers just deposit and try to make up for their losses ---> New pie
[2017-01-18 10:05:42] trestres : the proportion will change, gamblers will exist also in future
[2017-01-18 10:06:39] Noobz : true enough
[2017-01-18 10:14:00] haxmb : arbitrage101: "is there a method to make profit consistently?" yeah sure here is a way to make money with no downside, free profits for all yo
[2017-01-18 10:15:00] haxmb : arbitrage101: arbitrage and market making are ways to balance your risk and return in a favorable way but there is no method to make consistent profit
[2017-01-18 10:15:11] arbitrage101 : haxmb: i see
[2017-01-18 10:15:37] arbitrage101 : cuz you guys are giving impression that 50% return in low
[2017-01-18 10:15:42] haxmb : yeah it is low
[2017-01-18 10:15:44] arbitrage101 : is low
[2017-01-18 10:15:48] haxmb : because there are so many opportunities
[2017-01-18 10:16:11] arbitrage101 : because price discrepancies?
[2017-01-18 10:16:21] haxmb : thats one for instance
[2017-01-18 10:16:28] haxmb : theres a lot of em
[2017-01-18 10:16:41] haxmb : but explaining them all is not the brightest idea
[2017-01-18 10:16:55] haxmb : since they are the ways I / micmix / others make money
[2017-01-18 10:17:01] arbitrage101 : lol
[2017-01-18 10:17:03] haxmb : kinda stupid to give it away
[2017-01-18 10:17:10] arbitrage101 : not manay traders are also coders
[2017-01-18 10:17:19] haxmb : well if you dont code yet
[2017-01-18 10:17:25] haxmb : i'd almost say no use in starting
[2017-01-18 10:17:30] haxmb : since you're behind 5-10 years
[2017-01-18 10:17:36] arbitrage101 : i can code, just that i dont enjoy doing it
[2017-01-18 10:17:54] haxmb : well then i dont recommend coding your own trading program
[2017-01-18 10:18:14] haxmb : I've had coding binges where i couldnt sleep for day because I was so amped up about what i was building
[2017-01-18 10:18:20] arbitrage101 : need to love coding to start algo trading?
[2017-01-18 10:18:23] haxmb : for days*
[2017-01-18 10:18:39] haxmb : no need to love coding, but is sure as fck helps if you like doing it
[2017-01-18 10:18:43] arbitrage101 : lots of modification and revision?
[2017-01-18 10:19:01] arbitrage101 : started a bot a month ago, blow up after a week
[2017-01-18 10:19:09] arbitrage101 : when bitcoin started a strong bull run
[2017-01-18 10:19:15] haxmb : why'd it blow up?
[2017-01-18 10:19:25] haxmb : shorted into the rally?
[2017-01-18 10:19:26] arbitrage101 : was MMing
[2017-01-18 10:19:37] arbitrage101 : price keeps going up, position becomes inbalance
[2017-01-18 10:19:55] haxmb : well maybe you should build something to manage your position
[2017-01-18 10:20:00] arbitrage101 : i did
[2017-01-18 10:20:10] arbitrage101 : i limit the size to only 3000
[2017-01-18 10:20:14] haxmb : haha
[2017-01-18 10:20:18] arbitrage101 : so, only small loss when it blow up
[2017-01-18 10:20:20] haxmb : how does that manage it
[2017-01-18 10:20:29] arbitrage101 : only quoting 400
[2017-01-18 10:20:35] haxmb : so it just holds a $3000 short all the way to the top
[2017-01-18 10:20:48] arbitrage101 : when position size is 3000, the bot stops
[2017-01-18 10:20:51] arbitrage101 : yes
[2017-01-18 10:20:58] haxmb : well you should build something that makes it buy back
[2017-01-18 10:21:05] haxmb : even if at a loss if needed
[2017-01-18 10:21:07] arbitrage101 : i did
[2017-01-18 10:21:10] haxmb : since price keeps going up
[2017-01-18 10:21:14] arbitrage101 : but the price never fall, even slig
[2017-01-18 10:21:26] haxmb : maybe you should incorporate your name into the system
[2017-01-18 10:21:33] arbitrage101 : lol
[2017-01-18 10:21:43] arbitrage101 : cross exchanges bot, i am not at that level yet
[2017-01-18 10:21:51] haxmb : well if you can build for bitmex
[2017-01-18 10:21:55] haxmb : why not add a second exchange
[2017-01-18 10:21:59] haxmb : cant be that hard
[2017-01-18 10:22:02] arbitrage101 : good idea
[2017-01-18 10:22:15] arbitrage101 : i imagine you need a lot of failed safe in place
[2017-01-18 10:22:22] haxmb : i trade on 11 exchanges
[2017-01-18 10:22:24] arbitrage101 : cuz of lag
[2017-01-18 10:22:29] arbitrage101 : geez
[2017-01-18 10:22:45] arbitrage101 : i only found 4-5 exchanges that is "trust worthy
[2017-01-18 10:22:54] haxmb : sure
[2017-01-18 10:22:59] haxmb : everybody has their own risk tolerance
[2017-01-18 10:23:10] haxmb : i have less balance on btc-e than on bitmex
[2017-01-18 10:23:19] haxmb : since btc-e is not very trustworthy
[2017-01-18 10:24:23] arbitrage101 : actually, based on record, they are more trust worthy than finex and stamp
[2017-01-18 10:24:34] haxmb : well they fucked everyone with ETH over during the hard fork
[2017-01-18 10:25:30] haxmb : they had no clue about the ETC replay attack
[2017-01-18 10:25:38] haxmb : their whole ETC balance got drained in hours
[2017-01-18 10:25:59] haxmb : and then they tweeted that ETC is a scam and nobody is going to get any ETC since their wallet got drained
[2017-01-18 10:26:48] arbitrage101 : i see
[2017-01-18 10:27:27] arbitrage101 : algo trading btc is your full time work?
[2017-01-18 10:27:49] haxmb : yup
[2017-01-18 10:27:54] arbitrage101 : is it worth it?
[2017-01-18 10:27:59] haxmb : heh
[2017-01-18 10:28:02] arbitrage101 : maybe i should really start
[2017-01-18 10:28:10] arbitrage101 : cost of living where i am is pretty low
[2017-01-18 10:28:15] haxmb : if you get good it can be worth it
[2017-01-18 10:28:20] ResQue : hey all i am new
[2017-01-18 10:28:26] haxmb : hola ResQue

[2017-01-18 10:28:58] haxmb : arbitrage101: i have no clue how I could make this amount of money in the "real world"
[2017-01-18 10:29:05] haxmb : ResQue: yup working fine :D
[2017-01-18 10:29:20] arbitrage101 : must be really awesome

[2017-01-18 10:30:22] arbitrage101 : many students i meet these days, especially in the west
[2017-01-18 10:30:24] ResQue : i am a programmer, been buying and selling small amounts of bitcoin for a few years now. Interested in talking about and learning more about how money works and automated trading strategies.
[2017-01-18 10:30:33] arbitrage101 : are dumb and ignorant
[2017-01-18 10:30:35] dodic : haxmb: I wrote my first lending bot this week, do you think its worth it optimizing it or should I just go for arb etc
[2017-01-18 10:30:43] arbitrage101 : no offense ..
[2017-01-18 10:30:51] ResQue : dodic that sounds cool

[2017-01-18 10:30:53] dodic : fairly new to this but programming for years
[2017-01-18 10:31:04] haxmb : dodic: if I were you I'd not bother with lending
[2017-01-18 10:31:22] ResQue : lending does sound kind of dangerous.
[2017-01-18 10:31:25] dodic : that's what i figured, but is was a nice way to learn the APIs
[2017-01-18 10:31:28] haxmb : its a suckers game
[2017-01-18 10:31:31] dodic : and Go
[2017-01-18 10:31:34] haxmb : yeah sure good start on API stuff
[2017-01-18 10:31:42] haxmb : I also once wrote something on finex for that
[2017-01-18 10:32:15] dodic : and then i watched the rates just slide down hah
[2017-01-18 10:32:25] dodic : I was like... well that was not very exciting
[2017-01-18 10:32:28] haxmb : hehe
[2017-01-18 10:32:42] haxmb : if a big move happens the rates will head back up again
[2017-01-18 10:33:12] haxmb : ResQue: where you from
[2017-01-18 10:33:25] ResQue : anyone have some good books or links on how monetary systems works or trading
[2017-01-18 10:34:05] lockhedge : this paper explains a basic market making model from a computer science perspective, should be relatively easy to understand for ppl without a finance background https://www.cs.cmu.edu/~softagents/papers/CR_nevmyvaka_sycara_seppi.pdf
[2017-01-18 10:34:25] arbitrage101 : lockhedge: thank you
[2017-01-18 10:34:28] ResQue : lockhedge thanks
[2017-01-18 10:34:31] arbitrage101 : will defineately read it
[2017-01-18 10:36:00] ResQue : Do all bitcoin exchanges require you to register a bank account or some kind of ID? I have no interesting in cashing out non-crypto currencies.
[2017-01-18 10:36:06] dodic : https://www.amazon.com/Random-Walk-Down-Wall-Street/dp/0393330338
[2017-01-18 10:36:23] haxmb : ResQue: nah you dont need a bank account
[2017-01-18 10:36:34] haxmb : usually they do want you to register your passport with them
[2017-01-18 10:36:39] haxmb : for the KYC/AML stuff
[2017-01-18 10:37:21] johndoe : ResQue: check out the Market Wizards series https://www.amazon.com/Market-Wizards-Updated-Interviews-Traders/dp/1118273052/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484735792&sr=8-1&keywords=market+wizards
[2017-01-18 10:37:48] johndoe : Great series going back 30 yrs. Interviews with some of the best traders from people like Paul Tudor Jones
[2017-01-18 10:38:33] ResQue : this looks like a really good book
[2017-01-18 10:38:33] johndoe : that book is kinda old, but the concepts are still the same. Trading is as much about psychology and emotional control than anything math-related.
[2017-01-18 10:38:35] ResQue : thans
[2017-01-18 10:39:25] johndoe : And here's the most recent book in the series. Not as good IMO, but more contemporary https://www.amazon.com/Hedge-Fund-Market-Wizards-Winning/dp/1118273044/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 It has people like Ray Dalio (boss of Bridgewater Associates - the largest hedge fund in the world).
[2017-01-18 10:40:41] ResQue : that does sound interesting, sounds like the sort of thing i need to read
[2017-01-18 10:41:20] haxmb : you can read a whole bunch of things
[2017-01-18 10:41:40] haxmb : but the only way you're gonna learn and improve is if you try it
[2017-01-18 10:41:56] haxmb : id recommend building a bot and giving it $50 to trade or something like that
[2017-01-18 10:42:04] haxmb : program a strategy
[2017-01-18 10:42:12] haxmb : and reasses based on performance
[2017-01-18 10:42:22] haxmb : market making / arbitrage
[2017-01-18 10:42:33] haxmb : i wouldnt try to build a TA bot or some shit like that
[2017-01-18 10:43:06] haxmb : because it all looks really cool afterwards, with the .382 fib lines and all the ichimoku cloud bs
[2017-01-18 10:43:11] ResQue : wouldn't a better idea be come up with a strategy then test it on historical data to see it works
[2017-01-18 10:43:14] dodic : haxmb: Thanks for the tips :)
[2017-01-18 10:43:25] haxmb : ResQue: if you want to lag behind sure
[2017-01-18 10:43:37] ResQue : why would you lag behind?
[2017-01-18 10:44:02] haxmb : because you are a) not live testing it, b) finding a fit for past data, which doesnt predict future data
[2017-01-18 10:44:17] haxmb : c) you will always be able to find a "perfect" strategy for past data
[2017-01-18 10:44:22] haxmb : but its gonna be fitted on that
[2017-01-18 10:44:34] haxmb : which is a major flaw and imo isnt gonna help you trade now
[2017-01-18 10:44:45] haxmb : dodic: cheers
[2017-01-18 10:44:45] johndoe : back-testing is good to do. Just don't optimize your model based on the results of that back-testing too much, if at all
[2017-01-18 10:44:56] haxmb : johndoe: <--- what the man says
[2017-01-18 10:44:58] ResQue : ok thanks for the advice
[2017-01-18 10:45:09] haxmb : you can backtest if you think of a strat
[2017-01-18 10:45:25] haxmb : but you shouldnt try to find a model based on the old data too much
[2017-01-18 10:45:38] haxmb : because shit changes all day
[2017-01-18 10:47:05] ResQue : maybe i should focus on what input effect price change
[2017-01-18 10:47:25] haxmb : ResQue: predicting price isnt gonna get you anywhere
[2017-01-18 10:47:31] ResQue : it seems random, maybe just a mess of people reading the news and selling when they get scared or happy. but maybe there is more to it?
[2017-01-18 10:47:44] haxmb : unless you have the biggest machine learning computing farm in the northern hemisphere
[2017-01-18 10:47:59] ResQue : not the biggest, but a very large one
[2017-01-18 10:48:17] haxmb : well then, go for it :)
[2017-01-18 10:48:54] ResQue : why do you think predicting prices is a bad idea? i am new and want to learn. I came here to meet other like minded people
[2017-01-18 10:49:13] haxmb : ResQue: because everybody wants that
[2017-01-18 10:49:21] haxmb : and if it is possible you will have infinite wealth
[2017-01-18 10:49:39] haxmb : its impossible to accurately predict the price
[2017-01-18 10:49:46] haxmb : just trade the waves bro
[2017-01-18 10:50:23] ResQue : lol ok
[2017-01-18 10:57:53] muirtastic : Is there a way to export all of your trade history, instead of just 1 page of 100 records?
[2017-01-18 11:00:20] haxmb : https://www.bitmex.com/app/tradeHistory
[2017-01-18 11:00:24] haxmb : top right, save as CSV ?
[2017-01-18 11:00:33] thailand : I think he wants it all as one CSV is the issue
[2017-01-18 11:00:40] thailand : have to look at some code for that muir
[2017-01-18 11:00:55] lockhedge : muirtastic: you can use this python script https://github.com/BitMEX/easy-data-scripts/blob/master/fetchTradeHistory.py
[2017-01-18 11:02:45] muirtastic : Thanks but I don't know how to run a script
[2017-01-18 11:03:04] muirtastic : I must have 40 or 50 pages of trade history though so this is absurd having to download them one screen at a time
[2017-01-18 11:05:01] ResQue_ : doesnt bitmex have an API you can use?
[2017-01-18 11:05:32] MikeHunt : muirtastic: you on windows or linux?
[2017-01-18 11:05:40] muirtastic : Wndows
[2017-01-18 11:05:49] MikeHunt : muirtastic: setup linux in a virtual machine
[2017-01-18 11:05:56] MikeHunt : muirtastic: then it will run natively
[2017-01-18 11:06:29] muirtastic : Thanks but that sounds like way too much work. I'll just have to download it page by page I guess
[2017-01-18 11:09:52] MikeHunt : a save all button would be helpful thou if any bitmex admin is listening
[2017-01-18 11:19:12] internetexplorer : where this btc going?

[2017-01-18 11:26:03] dodic : "just use 100x will get strong signal" really living up to the "trollbox" name

[2017-01-18 11:33:35] REKT : Liquidated short on `XBTH17`: buy 1000 @ 894.43

[2017-01-18 12:04:59] narnarfromnarnia : trading was paused?
[2017-01-18 12:06:09] l3f : narnarfromnarnia: only during that 1 second where funding gets applied
[2017-01-18 12:06:23] narnarfromnarnia : ah ok
[2017-01-18 12:06:32] narnarfromnarnia : so we get paid to be long now
[2017-01-18 12:09:38] BTC-Noob : is the funding rate calculated on the notional value of my position or just collateral placed?
[2017-01-18 12:10:17] XBT_IHCT : BTC-Noob: the notional value
[2017-01-18 12:15:55] l3f : BTC-Noob: notional value
[2017-01-18 12:16:20] l3f : Who are these massive shorts
[2017-01-18 12:16:23] l3f : I'm getting paid to long

[2017-01-18 12:17:01] l3f : which is a shame

[2017-01-18 12:17:20] l3f : It did reach the neck line (sort of) but it didn't touch it
[2017-01-18 12:17:54] l3f : narnarfromnarnia: anyways I didn't short I just had bids down to 820s
[2017-01-18 12:18:20] narnarfromnarnia : it can still head there today
[2017-01-18 12:18:27] narnarfromnarnia : daily has room for that i think
[2017-01-18 12:18:41] l3f : settlement is tomorrow
[2017-01-18 12:18:44] l3f : on okc
[2017-01-18 12:18:49] l3f : gt ready for some fuckery
[2017-01-18 12:18:50] narnarfromnarnia : what's that?
[2017-01-18 12:18:56] l3f : weekly futures
[2017-01-18 12:18:58] narnarfromnarnia : you mean margin stuff?
[2017-01-18 12:19:04] narnarfromnarnia : oh
[2017-01-18 12:20:28] narnarfromnarnia : 1h https://www.tradingview.com/x/wynEhGou/
[2017-01-18 12:20:41] l3f : 1h looks fine
[2017-01-18 12:20:44] l3f : I was hoping for another shakeout
[2017-01-18 12:22:09] narnarfromnarnia : maybe 860's
[2017-01-18 12:22:12] narnarfromnarnia : 4hr
[2017-01-18 12:23:02] l3f : narnarfromnarnia: my bids are ready
[2017-01-18 12:23:19] narnarfromnarnia : you were thinking 830's?
[2017-01-18 12:23:24] l3f : 820s
[2017-01-18 12:23:27] narnarfromnarnia : oh
[2017-01-18 12:23:28] narnarfromnarnia : hmm
[2017-01-18 12:23:39] l3f : assuming "H&S" was real
[2017-01-18 12:23:41] narnarfromnarnia : yeah 860 would get hit too quick
[2017-01-18 12:23:49] narnarfromnarnia : it's real
[2017-01-18 12:23:56] narnarfromnarnia : ish
[2017-01-18 12:24:07] narnarfromnarnia : slow motion too
[2017-01-18 12:24:49] shiroe : go 10000!
[2017-01-18 12:33:29] MikeHunt : going here? http://i.imgur.com/6O4758r.png
[2017-01-18 12:36:22] lalit2017 : Hi I am new here. How to start?
[2017-01-18 12:37:48] XBT_IHCT : lalit2017: start with 1% of your balance
[2017-01-18 12:38:25] XBT_IHCT : and build up your experience from there
[2017-01-18 12:39:33] XBT_IHCT : then when you get comfortable with how everything works, start using a bit more leverage
[2017-01-18 12:39:47] lalit2017 : Ok thank you
[2017-01-18 12:40:32] XBT_IHCT : lalit2017: or if you want to practice without using your real money, there is a testnet you can use
[2017-01-18 12:41:21] REKT : Liquidated long on `XBTUSD`: sell 5 @ 889.80
[2017-01-18 12:41:26] lalit2017 : Oh there is. I will practice on testnet.
[2017-01-18 12:41:36] lalit2017 : Thank you for help
[2017-01-18 12:43:55] BTCDJS : This is going down to 830
[2017-01-18 12:47:53] lalit2017 : where is testnet?
[2017-01-18 12:49:36] internetexplorer : testnet.bitmex.com
[2017-01-18 12:51:07] l3f : I thought it was start with 100x leverage
[2017-01-18 12:51:09] l3f : then get liquidated
[2017-01-18 12:51:30] l3f : then beg for donations
[2017-01-18 12:52:09] internetexplorer : =)))
[2017-01-18 12:52:13] lalit2017 : thanx
[2017-01-18 12:55:52] l3f : I think once you're here long enough you turn into a bitter old man like sleger and rapidlosses
[2017-01-18 12:56:07] l3f : and all you got was all these buttcoins as compensation
[2017-01-18 12:56:43] abbey : that is not proper h&s pattern guys, the neck is not ok. start your engines quick, you don't want to miss this one
[2017-01-18 12:57:57] l3f : abbey: whale decided not to dump
[2017-01-18 12:58:30] l3f : hopefully I can get some dips
[2017-01-18 12:58:34] l3f : I'm long
[2017-01-18 13:01:31] abbey : me too, i had one order waiting @876.5, it went close.
[2017-01-18 13:03:12] MikeHunt : we need to hit ~6450 to complete the cup/saucepan
[2017-01-18 13:03:20] MikeHunt : if whale dump now then whole thing might collapse
[2017-01-18 13:03:22] MikeHunt : not more bull
[2017-01-18 13:03:35] abbey : I have also long orders waiting at 860s and 840s
[2017-01-18 13:05:29] abbey : had also $830, but don't believe that anymore
[2017-01-18 13:07:41] REKT : Liquidated long on `XBTUSD`: sell 4000 @ 888.18
[2017-01-18 13:07:47] REKT : Liquidated long on `XBTH17`: sell 29000 @ 879.17

[2017-01-18 13:09:34] narnarfromnarnia : dang i closed out my short too soon
[2017-01-18 13:09:44] KyllingLolsson : MikeHunt: do u have a blog? If not u should get one, Nice to read analysis! Even if youre not a super pro, still interesting
[2017-01-18 13:10:03] abbey : hope your engines are running ... just in case.
[2017-01-18 13:11:35] aethlios : BTCDJS: hello, what do you think about the market. bulls have to keep 840 march to stay alive
[2017-01-18 13:11:57] REKT : Liquidated long on `XBTUSD`: sell 2800 @ 883.62
[2017-01-18 13:14:51] BTCDJS : aethlios: I think it will go to 950-980 but slowly with a few retraces
