This is a mirror of the original BitMEX trollbox archive that used to be online here.
BitMEX disabled their archive after the DDOS attack so I have decided to make my mirror publicly available.

Well now, a few days after I made this mirror available to the public, the original archive from BitMEX is online again.
But since it is still limited (neutered to the last few hundred messages) I will keep my FULL mirror alive.

You have access to more than 50 million trollbox posts. This is more than 7 gigabyte of data hosted on a $5 server so please be patient or consider a donation

[2017-01-03 12:20:31] foobar : i was interested in learning this stuff myself, but would be down with an advisor in the interim

[2017-01-03 12:44:01] rowrow : yeah, sounds about where bitcoin is at right now
[2017-01-03 12:45:21] rowrow : we keep getting stuck at the 1030 range past day or two
[2017-01-03 12:45:42] rms : more wires clear at 8AM and 9AM
[2017-01-03 12:45:43] narnarfromnarnia : freezing up again
[2017-01-03 12:45:44] narnarfromnarnia : :(
[2017-01-03 12:45:52] rms : if we don't break out of the range at 9AM we're fucked for a week or so
[2017-01-03 12:45:59] brouk : looking at 12 hour this should drop down
[2017-01-03 12:47:12] rowrow : anyone know how much more depth the chinese order books tend to have? obviously far more volume but hyper inflated without fees
[2017-01-03 12:47:14] foobar : i haven't really analyzed much data, but seeing bitmex price at a discount to the kaiko quote is something i haven't seen before
[2017-01-03 12:47:37] foobar : in the past couple days
[2017-01-03 12:47:48] rms : it happens whenever shorts get paid a lot
[2017-01-03 12:48:19] rowrow : it's probably above like 80% of the time, below 20%, something like that from what i've seen
[2017-01-03 12:49:10] rowrow : occasionally funding for longs will go negative
[2017-01-03 12:49:59] brouk : 1m on okc looks bloody as fk
[2017-01-03 12:50:01] brouk : lol
[2017-01-03 12:50:29] foobar : rowrow: wow, so you can get paid out on long
[2017-01-03 12:50:32] rms : anyone know how the index price for xbtcny is weighted?
[2017-01-03 12:50:32] foobar : that is amazing
[2017-01-03 12:51:15] brouk : foobar: yeah you can do that in 15 hours if the predicted rate will keep at -0.15%
[2017-01-03 12:51:27] rowrow : yeah, but average is probably like .1% or a little more for the shorters
[2017-01-03 12:52:12] rowrow : brouk: can you check okc order books without making an account?
[2017-01-03 12:52:29] brouk : rowrow: yes
[2017-01-03 12:53:37] brouk : rowrow: its public data, the depth is shown on cryptowat.ch for example
[2017-01-03 12:54:07] rowrow : brouk: thanks, yeah some of the chinese order books are pretty crazy to follow, like 5 trades a second
[2017-01-03 12:58:46] rapidtrades : hi
[2017-01-03 12:59:42] rms : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-38495804
[2017-01-03 13:00:34] rapidtrades : China's currency, the renminbi, fell about 7% in value last year. Bitcoin rose 125% in value last year
[2017-01-03 13:01:00] rapidtrades : clear correlation right there
[2017-01-03 13:02:27] rapidtrades : i was reading bitcoin markets earlier and its crazy how many ppl expect 5k to 10k coins
[2017-01-03 13:02:54] rapidtrades : we're now even more retard then usual
[2017-01-03 13:03:25] Apocalyptic : crazy expectations, but this is bitcoin rapid
[2017-01-03 13:03:29] brouk : "There are currently about 15 million Bitcoins in existence."
[2017-01-03 13:03:37] brouk : aren't there 16 million already?
[2017-01-03 13:04:41] Apocalyptic : brouk: theoretically yes, but about 1M is believed to be held in satoshi's adresses, and not spendable
[2017-01-03 13:06:33] brouk : that is "lost" bitcoins?
[2017-01-03 13:07:03] Apocalyptic : brouk: it is generally treated as such, yes
[2017-01-03 13:08:11] rapidtrades : didnt we do 1 hard fork since creation? would that render them unspendable
[2017-01-03 13:09:19] Apocalyptic : rapidtrades: there are not technically unspendable, it's just that no one believes he still has the keys to them or that he will be willing to spend them
[2017-01-03 13:09:45] Apocalyptic : and there was no hard fork afaik
[2017-01-03 13:10:08] rapidtrades : there was 1
[2017-01-03 13:10:14] Apocalyptic : rapidtrades: when ?
[2017-01-03 13:10:34] rapidtrades : 2011? when 1 billion btc were created
[2017-01-03 13:10:35] brouk : is it possible that someday in the future we will be able to brute force the lost private keys for these bitcoins?
[2017-01-03 13:10:51] mariomarco : brouk: nope
[2017-01-03 13:10:57] brouk : mariomarco: why not?
[2017-01-03 13:10:58] rms : http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/36090/has-a-hard-fork-ever-occurred
[2017-01-03 13:11:14] mariomarco : brouk: btc is quantum computer resistant
[2017-01-03 13:11:25] mariomarco : if you could brute force a lost account you could brute any account
[2017-01-03 13:11:31] mariomarco : so yeah :D
[2017-01-03 13:11:43] mariomarco : quantum processor rather
[2017-01-03 13:11:50] Apocalyptic : rapidtrades: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Value_overflow_incident this ?
[2017-01-03 13:11:58] rullwull : keep in mind that over 20% of bitcoins are lost, people simply loose their private keys
[2017-01-03 13:12:17] Apocalyptic : or their HD crashes and no backup
[2017-01-03 13:13:34] rapidtrades : Apocalyptic: yes
[2017-01-03 13:16:19] Apocalyptic : I guess you can call it a fork

[2017-01-03 13:19:35] Apocalyptic : rapidtrades: read what I said above
[2017-01-03 13:20:36] Apocalyptic : people just think that if he could/wanted to move them, he would have done so by now
[2017-01-03 13:21:29] tommygunn : Good Morning NA, good night china
[2017-01-03 13:23:15] tommygunn : looks like we are still in da chop
[2017-01-03 13:24:28] rapidtrades : Apocalyptic: maybe he never needed them until now?

[2017-01-03 14:08:02] Rado : report it to BitMEX
[2017-01-03 14:08:42] martyix : Rado: well, bitmex folks read it here
[2017-01-03 14:08:43] BitMEX_Wally : martyix: Thanks, I will investigate
[2017-01-03 14:09:04] martyix : muchas gracias :)
[2017-01-03 14:09:49] Rado2 : martyix: well you need to say one of the magic words
[2017-01-03 14:09:56] Rado2 : support, BitMEX etc
[2017-01-03 14:10:22] Rado2 : BitMEX_Wally: what are the words you have alerts on?
[2017-01-03 14:10:27] martyix : I see. Thanks. I'll report it correctly next time.
[2017-01-03 14:10:56] BitMEX_Wally : Rado2: There are no keywords, we just keep an eye on the trollbox
[2017-01-03 14:10:59] Rado2 : martyix: also the best way to report something is to send an email to support@bitmex.com
[2017-01-03 14:11:10] Rado2 : BitMEX_Wally: thanks
[2017-01-03 14:11:32] Rado2 : BitMEX_Wally: I appreciate the quick response to my requests
[2017-01-03 14:11:36] mariomarco : BitMEX_Wally: how long can a position stay open on a perpetual swap?
[2017-01-03 14:11:47] Rado2 : mariomarco: forever
[2017-01-03 14:11:47] sleger : only until perpetuity
[2017-01-03 14:11:52] BitMEX_Wally : Yep
[2017-01-03 14:12:04] Rado2 : sleger: how was your flight
[2017-01-03 14:12:16] mariomarco : so potentially people that opened long at let say 800 can still have it open?
[2017-01-03 14:12:16] sleger : usual, fine, short
[2017-01-03 14:12:25] Rado2 : nice
[2017-01-03 14:13:53] Rado2 : sleger: after a few tweaks my bot performing much better
[2017-01-03 14:13:55] BitMEX_Wally : Rado2: Thanks for reporting that, it was due to a special order being tested in testnet that traded against your limit order. I will fix that rounding issue
[2017-01-03 14:14:28] sleger : Rado2: isnt it too early to say ?
[2017-01-03 14:14:34] Rado2 : a lot more work to do on dynamic spread
[2017-01-03 14:14:57] Rado2 : sleger: it is early, but happy with what I see so far
[2017-01-03 14:15:07] Rado2 : handled a few big drops very nice
[2017-01-03 14:15:19] sleger : what size are you quoting now ?
[2017-01-03 14:15:33] Rado2 : the big problem I need to solve now is I am leavign money on the table by not adjusting spread
[2017-01-03 14:15:53] Rado2 : I am still at 500, but thinking of changing to 1000
[2017-01-03 14:16:03] sleger : most bots here are coded to only improve best bid/ask by minimal increment
[2017-01-03 14:17:06] Rado2 : I know
[2017-01-03 14:17:28] Rado2 : I have one feature that is totally my own :-)
[2017-01-03 14:17:43] Rado2 : maybe other has a similar thing, not really sure

[2017-01-03 14:18:36] Rado2 : rapidtrades: ha ha
[2017-01-03 14:21:19] Rado2 : BitMEX_Wally: are bots on testnet trying to outsmart each other or there are some "test" trades by users?
[2017-01-03 14:21:55] Rado2 : the only thing I can really test is that the code doesn't have errors there
[2017-01-03 14:23:00] Rado2 : It will be great if there is a simulated orders place based on some algo
[2017-01-03 14:26:09] Rado : chop chop till you drop
[2017-01-03 14:26:24] Rado : need another push higher to get some shorts
[2017-01-03 14:26:50] MikeHunt : is this why they call it a woodchipper?
[2017-01-03 14:28:16] Rado2 : MikeHunt: http://i.imgur.com/t0Pw9AN.png

[2017-01-03 15:01:25] BitMEX_Greg : alejandromasari: Yes, a negative fee means you are receiving that amount

[2017-01-03 15:10:27] Noob : I sold at market. The price dropped by 20 points to complete the order. In other words, selling at market dropped my average price by around 20. Is this normal?
[2017-01-03 15:10:50] brouk : yes
[2017-01-03 15:11:07] brouk : if you sell large position
[2017-01-03 15:11:26] Noob : Lesson learned (the hard way) I was up at least 35% ROE.
[2017-01-03 15:11:32] brouk : order book is dynamic
[2017-01-03 15:11:50] brouk : you better sell by smaller amounts multiple times
[2017-01-03 15:12:05] brouk : or put limit sell order
[2017-01-03 15:12:29] Noob : @brouk thanks for the advice.
[2017-01-03 15:13:25] BitMEX_Greg : cryptomad: No problem. Just take a look at the trade history first. It will explain a few items such as funding paid, or fees paid. You can also see the price and quantity you entered the position and exited. The rows on the Transaction History do not necessarily show the entire trade history, that row could be from a funding payment, or a fee payment, for example.
[2017-01-03 15:13:51] brouk : Noob: also, % ROE is calculated based on mark price, which can be different from order book prices (market prices)

[2017-01-03 15:53:24] sleger : bitbit: liquidations are not based on index price but on the futures price

[2017-01-03 15:53:48] bitbit : BitMEX_Sam: I checked everywhere I never saw that price.. I will send you an email
[2017-01-03 15:55:58] BitMEX_Greg : bitbit: Will await your email. As sleger mentions, liquidations are based on mark price. Not last traded price
[2017-01-03 15:58:17] aethlios : BitMEX_Greg: bitmex volume very high, I am sure there is a bright future for traders employees and investors of bitmex.

[2017-01-03 16:00:22] BitMEX_Greg : moo: Try refresh the page
[2017-01-03 16:00:30] BitMEX_Sam : moo: It's possible that if you're refreshing too often, you're hitting ratelimits on the site
[2017-01-03 16:01:12] moo : its possible, but it usually happens when i close the site and try to reopen it after a decent amount of time
[2017-01-03 16:01:35] BitMEX_Sam : I am seeing your IP refreshing the site almost every second
[2017-01-03 16:02:44] BitMEX_Sam : About a half hour ago, you refreshed about 15 times in 45 seconds. It seems to have calmed down now
[2017-01-03 16:02:58] BitMEX_Sam : But that can cause issues as each account has its own ratelimits, and if you refresh the page too often, you'll hit them.
[2017-01-03 16:03:22] $$ : What will happen if the price tanks during bitmex down time? Margin calls when site comes back up?
[2017-01-03 16:05:31] Rado2 : $$: best thing to do is not have a position I guess
[2017-01-03 16:05:32] BitMEX_Wally : We we cancel the downtime if the price is volatiile
[2017-01-03 16:06:32] Rado2 : I am stopping my bot during the maintenance

[2017-01-03 16:13:49] Rado2 : BitMEX_Wally: is there no way to not have a downtime at all?
[2017-01-03 16:14:03] sleger : they would probably do it if it were the case
[2017-01-03 16:14:38] Milkman : is the downtime going to make bitmex faster during heavy loads?
[2017-01-03 16:14:40] Rado2 : sleger: well I am sure they can, it probably just needs investment in hardware and labor
[2017-01-03 16:14:58] BitMEX_Sam : Our last downtime was Feb 17, 2016
[2017-01-03 16:15:05] sleger : if they need to upgrade the matching engine code then not really
[2017-01-03 16:15:05] BitMEX_Sam : Occasionally servers need to be rebooted for kernel upgrades and so on.
[2017-01-03 16:15:25] BitMEX_Sam : We will be doing everything we can to make the downtime as short as possible.
[2017-01-03 16:15:34] Rado2 : BitMEX_Sam: can you not do it by rotating restarts of redundant systems
[2017-01-03 16:15:53] BitMEX_Sam : It doesn't work that way in the case of the trading engine, but it does for all other systems
[2017-01-03 16:16:38] Rado2 : BitMEX_Sam: so trading engine is not clustered in any way?
[2017-01-03 16:16:54] Rado2 : I guess it's very hard with this high availability
[2017-01-03 16:18:44] BitMEX_Sam : It is not possible to do effectively in the case of the engine; we have read replicas etc but for obvious reasons there is only one master for writes
[2017-01-03 16:19:57] BitMEX_Sam : We have had 100% availability for the last 321 days... we're quite happy with that, but occasionally we have to bounce some critical services.
[2017-01-03 16:20:52] Rado2 : BitMEX_Sam: ?
[2017-01-03 16:21:20] bingbongfly : 321 days of uptime is pretty impressive! Best exchange I've traded on hands down.
[2017-01-03 16:21:59] dannybreal : buckle up Dorothy, 'cos we are going for a ride
[2017-01-03 16:25:10] KingTuna : What's the funding rate now? Can't find from my mobile

[2017-01-03 16:34:15] tommygunn : looks like buying dip is the key in btc and eth
[2017-01-03 16:34:42] KingTuna : ETH to go back above 0.01?
[2017-01-03 16:34:50] Naloxone : @tommygunn or shorting top
[2017-01-03 16:35:37] tommygunn : Naloxone: of course, we need shorting

[2017-01-03 17:31:57] elmorte : Can't find it in the docs
[2017-01-03 17:33:16] BitMEX_Greg : elmorte: It should be equal weighted Huobi, OKC and BTCC CNY prices
[2017-01-03 17:33:39] MikeHunt : BitMEX_Sam: is fee for opening/closing a 50x short 0.05% * 50 ?
[2017-01-03 17:33:49] elmorte : Cheers, I thought as much but can't find it documented @BitMEX_Greg
[2017-01-03 17:34:17] BitMEX_Greg : MikeHunt: The fee is 0.075% for taker, -0.025% for maker. And it is based on the total position size.
[2017-01-03 17:34:27] BitMEX_Greg : elmorte: I will add on the index page.
[2017-01-03 17:34:37] elmorte :
[2017-01-03 17:36:38] aethlios : BTCDJS: 0.0135-0.0145 tech resistance. maybe some whales sold btc and will pump eth while btc corrects,
[2017-01-03 17:37:27] MikeHunt : BitMEX_Greg: so fees arent ever multiplied on there own?
[2017-01-03 17:37:49] sleger : "based on the total position size."
[2017-01-03 17:38:02] MikeHunt : sleger: i'd rather ask a dumb question than make a dumb trade
[2017-01-03 17:38:13] sleger : your question is not clear
[2017-01-03 17:38:31] BitMEX_Greg : MikeHunt: So lets say you open a position of 10,000 contracts. The fee is based on 10,000 contracts. This is irrespective of leverage
[2017-01-03 17:38:43] MikeHunt : BitMEX_Greg: ahh ok thanks
[2017-01-03 17:39:12] BitMEX_Greg : MikeHunt: So you want to multiply the contract size by the executed price to get the total bitcoin value, then multiply by the fee to get a bitcoin denominated fee
[2017-01-03 17:39:27] BitMEX_Greg : np :)
[2017-01-03 17:39:31] rapidtrades : mark my words, this is some bitfinex manipulated garbage

[2017-01-03 17:42:25] MikeHunt : or they will expect us to the buy the dip as they crash it
[2017-01-03 17:43:03] rapidtrades : we have been buying the dip ho
[2017-01-03 17:43:04] MikeHunt : that's assuming they can keep usd exchanges <= $1000
[2017-01-03 17:43:21] MikeHunt : >= $1000 *
[2017-01-03 17:43:30] MikeHunt : greater than or equal to $1000
[2017-01-03 17:43:37] MikeHunt : didnt like greater symbol hmm
[2017-01-03 17:43:55] rapidtrades : the lack of premium on 3m futures is another red flag
[2017-01-03 17:44:23] rapidtrades : this low premium hasn't happened during any of the previous rallies since last august
[2017-01-03 17:44:27] sleger : recently low premium = pump incoming
[2017-01-03 17:44:40] rapidtrades : but premium is high on weekly
[2017-01-03 17:44:43] Apocalyptic : rapidtrades: make it dump already
[2017-01-03 17:44:52] rapidtrades : $4 and $7 biweekly
[2017-01-03 17:44:58] sleger : it's 2-3$ on weekly
[2017-01-03 17:45:00] sleger : thats nothing
[2017-01-03 17:45:17] rapidtrades : its better then negative, which was the case during most of the rally
[2017-01-03 17:45:30] sleger : what ?
[2017-01-03 17:45:37] rapidtrades : why are the specs not buying this move? cos its coming from some manipulated exchange
[2017-01-03 17:45:40] sleger : premium on weekly 0kc was 15$ 24hrs ago
[2017-01-03 17:45:53] rapidtrades : sleger: weekly premium was negative before that tho
[2017-01-03 17:46:02] sleger : and then price pumped
[2017-01-03 17:46:06] sleger : thats what im saying
[2017-01-03 17:46:13] rapidtrades : ok
[2017-01-03 17:46:23] rapidtrades : ur right this time its different
[2017-01-03 17:46:41] rapidtrades : guess all those newbs are right and we'll hit 5-10k soon
[2017-01-03 17:46:52] MikeHunt : they could all dump before it hits the line thou so we think its just anotehr dip
[2017-01-03 17:47:01] MikeHunt : wen it isnt
[2017-01-03 17:47:40] rapidtrades : there are so many things setting off red flag
[2017-01-03 17:47:50] rapidtrades : the size of the move, the duration, the low premiums
[2017-01-03 17:47:53] rapidtrades : it stinks
[2017-01-03 17:48:05] laisee : any change in bitcoin that supports increased valuation?
[2017-01-03 17:48:18] sleger : rapidtrades: you were saying the same at 800
[2017-01-03 17:48:25] rapidtrades : yes i was
[2017-01-03 17:48:31] zach719 : sleger: true
[2017-01-03 17:48:31] MikeHunt : rapidtrades: it looks timed so that the conclusion is roughly same time china starts business hours
[2017-01-03 17:49:46] MikeHunt : could go either way
[2017-01-03 17:50:08] sleger : either way ?
[2017-01-03 17:50:12] sleger : oh great
[2017-01-03 17:50:15] sleger : thanks for insight
[2017-01-03 17:50:21] MikeHunt : its up to the whale gods
[2017-01-03 17:50:34] MikeHunt : will they hold to 7200 or dump
[2017-01-03 17:50:41] rapidtrades : price action says we'll pump again
[2017-01-03 17:50:54] rapidtrades : has the same pattern before every pump
[2017-01-03 17:51:03] MikeHunt : sleger: when i showed you that yuan/btc chart you said btc was doomed
[2017-01-03 17:51:07] MikeHunt : ie: overbought?
[2017-01-03 17:51:23] rapidtrades : it's dumb but we'll prolly go up again
[2017-01-03 17:51:37] MikeHunt : rapidtrades: i hope we do, another bully rally would be $.$
[2017-01-03 17:51:41] sleger : no its because you show 2 lines that diverge and your conclusion is that the bottom one has to reached the higher one, although the graph could mean the opposite
[2017-01-03 17:52:31] MikeHunt : sleger: im not saying it has to, but it may be an indicator of the yuans real/declining value
[2017-01-03 17:52:44] rapidtrades : yeah i haven't found divergence particularly useful
[2017-01-03 17:52:44] sleger : yes bitcoin controls the yuan price
[2017-01-03 17:52:47] sleger : that's very smart
[2017-01-03 17:52:48] MikeHunt : with the rate being set by PBOC its hard to tell
[2017-01-03 17:52:57] sleger : ^newbs
[2017-01-03 17:53:01] MikeHunt : in venuezuela its easier due to big black cash market
[2017-01-03 17:53:09] sleger : think before you type
[2017-01-03 17:53:38] MikeHunt : sleger: im not saying bitcoin controls it, it just may be an indicator
[2017-01-03 17:53:42] sleger : rapidtrades: china also might want to stop that eth rally
[2017-01-03 17:54:01] rapidtrades : why would china care about ETH
[2017-01-03 17:54:27] sleger : they dont want it to take money from btc
[2017-01-03 17:54:37] sleger : they care a lot
[2017-01-03 17:54:43] sleger : miners
[2017-01-03 17:54:46] rapidtrades : that's a weird logic
[2017-01-03 17:54:49] MikeHunt : sleger: XMR as well?
[2017-01-03 17:55:00] sleger : MikeHunt: ask your friend alejandro i dont know
[2017-01-03 17:55:01] moo : if ETH will dominate their mining ROI will be hit hard
[2017-01-03 17:55:08] moo : huge % loss
[2017-01-03 17:55:20] sleger : eth wont have mining in 1 year
[2017-01-03 17:55:34] moo : exact;y
[2017-01-03 17:55:38] rapidtrades : the problem with that theory is it requires all of them to collude
[2017-01-03 17:55:47] moo : $ invested in mining = useless
[2017-01-03 17:55:51] moo : they dont want that
[2017-01-03 17:56:02] rapidtrades : that won't happen cos its much more profitable to go rouge
[2017-01-03 17:56:04] sleger : rapidtrades: there are only few large miners, and they talk to each other
[2017-01-03 17:56:30] rapidtrades : sleger: ok but let's say 3 out of 4 decide to dump on ETH, the one that doesn't ends up with $$$$
[2017-01-03 17:56:31] sleger : why do you think they are pumping etc ?
[2017-01-03 17:56:37] moo : china has huge mining farms... they want PoW to dominate marketcaps forever
[2017-01-03 17:56:51] rapidtrades : sleger: yeah that's a good point, never thought about that
[2017-01-03 17:56:58] rapidtrades : ETC was a weird selection
[2017-01-03 17:57:06] sleger : miners forced it
[2017-01-03 17:57:13] sleger : they forced huobi, polo
[2017-01-03 17:57:26] rapidtrades : u mean btcc?
[2017-01-03 17:57:39] rapidtrades : does huobi already have etc?
[2017-01-03 17:57:40] sleger : i think huobi announced they would integrate etc no ?
[2017-01-03 17:57:46] sleger : they said they will
[2017-01-03 17:57:50] rapidtrades : no that was btcc?
[2017-01-03 17:58:18] rapidtrades : former btc china
[2017-01-03 18:00:25] tommygunn : poor etc boobss
[2017-01-03 18:01:02] tommygunn : west wats tech and always will go tech, vc's and silicon valley
[2017-01-03 18:01:07] tommygunn : wants
[2017-01-03 18:01:24] tommygunn : etc is a buck 50
[2017-01-03 18:01:32] sleger : rapidtrades: you're right, btcc
[2017-01-03 18:06:35] Milkman : ETC dump
[2017-01-03 18:06:42] elmorte : hmm, China spot hasn't had this big of a premium since July
[2017-01-03 18:08:05] Milkman : 0kcoin market buy up to 7392 cny just now
[2017-01-03 18:08:47] sleger : what did i say...
[2017-01-03 18:09:34] tommygunn : china trying
[2017-01-03 18:11:22] sludge : Why is the funding rate so much lower this settlement time?
[2017-01-03 18:12:01] sleger : next one probably even negative
[2017-01-03 18:13:49] sludge : What market dynamics control the rate?
[2017-01-03 18:14:40] Milkman : so if i market buy / sell into a hidden wall i get the maker fee?
[2017-01-03 18:15:13] sleger : yes
[2017-01-03 18:17:16] BitMEX_Greg : sludge: Please take a read of the following documentation which helps explain the funding dynamics: https://www.bitmex.com/app/swapsGuide#Funding
[2017-01-03 18:33:47] justinlooking : Bless the Rekt,, O my soul
[2017-01-03 18:37:49] Milkman : cryptowatch charts stopped updating?
[2017-01-03 18:45:55] rapidtrades : sleger: his charts stopped updating
